I have decided to make a series of banners for my Church - St John's Neutral Bay, these will be rainbow colours, the first being a rainbow.
The rainbow is coloured in with fabrics, the sky has free motion stitching around the dove.

- I have been making things all my life. Sewing when I was young. Knitting and crocheting in my teenage years. In the last few years I have been doing a lot more freeform work, scrumbling, beading, quilting and now fabric punching. I don't like rules, but accept that you need to know what they are so you know when you are able to bend or break them. I was born in Scotland, and emigrated to Australia in 1986. We live in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. I am married and have 2 children and a cat - who knows when I am busy and that is when she wants attention.
